Who we share it with

We share data only with the services needed to run the app:

We may also disclose data if the law requires it.

Health information

Calorie, macro, BMI and health-score figures, and suggested meals, are estimates for general wellness. They are not medical advice. Talk to a doctor or dietitian before making big changes to your diet, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have a history of eating disorders.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. Login codes expire after 10 minutes and are deleted after use. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your profile, logs and photos from our database and storage straight away. Backups held by our hosting provider are overwritten within 30 days.

Security

All data travels over encrypted HTTPS connections. Login codes are stored only as one-way hashes. Each meal photo can only be viewed by the account that uploaded it.

Your choices and rights

Children

SnapNosh is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
